Now if a user from Texas searches for your webpage, the data of your webpage have to travel from France to Texas, stopping in several routers. This delay affects every data such as image, JavaScript file, video etc.

To solve this problem, you should keep the copy of your page in both Texas and France servers.  Here comes the role of CDN. A CDN has servers all over the world, so it stores a copy of your webpage in each server. Therefore, no matters from where the users are, they will have access to your webpage on a nearby server.
